WHAT THE BOOKKEEPER DOES ON A DAY TO DAY BASIS:

  • Manage a weekly schedule of orders, deliveries, and pickups, preparing and verifying accurate invoices for payment
  • Oversee the warehousing, counting, and reconciliation of shipments
  • Ensure proper storage and organization of products, and process shipments promptly
  • Maintain inventory accuracy by running periodic cycle counts
  • Sort and pack shipments according to customer requirements and fulfill orders, including contacting vendors as needed
  • Respond to customer complaints and questions in a professional, courteous and timely fashion
  • Maintain communication with warehouse employees
  • Process return shipments
  • Process customer refunds and credits
  • Assign credit memos to appropriate invoices
  • Maintain adequate records of all invoices, credit memos, and customer refunds
  • Maintain and update customer list
  • Maintain and update vendor list
  • Maintain and update freight invoice list
